First day of kindergarten!

The day has come, my little baby is off to kindergarten!  She was so excited to start this new adventure! I was lucky enough to help in getting her ready, but could not go to school since I’m on bed rest. My husband said  she couldn’t wait to see the other kids and thank God one of her classmates form Pre-K is going to the same school and is in the same class!  Where did the time go, was this it?  Is it over?  Is it just crazy schedules and running from one thing to the other from now on?  Did it all slip away?  Did I cherish it enough?  Did she get enough?  All these thoughts go through my mind, and as my child walk through the door of her first day, she says “mama, my teacher is super nice and I had the best time”!  Now is that enough for me?  It’ll have to be….
