Concentrate!

My husband picked up my daughter from school on Friday and the TA wanted to speak to him.  Apparently our daughter was not concentrating enough, she was getting up to get tissues a lot and going to the bathroom a lot.  She does have a runny nose, so that would make sense (I think).  The bathroom thing, I’m not sure about…so my husband asked if this is an ongoing thing, and he was told that it just happened that day.  That we need to have her concentrate more, since next week they start giving out homework.  Well now, here comes the paranoia…is she too young to be in there, did we push too hard?  she made the cut off by literally a day!  We can give it a few more days and see how it goes, but I’m hoping she just had an off day, kids are allowed to have those right?  All we can do is talk to her about what happened, but I feel stupid asking her why did she get up so many times for a tissue when I know she’s sick……fingers crossed, we had our first off day!
