Organize My Day!
I have found it to be a challenge to get EVERYTHING done! Meaning, regular day things, plus the additional extra/important things. For example, I would love to look into swim lessons for my daughter, I want to come up with menus for my family, I would also like to go through my daughter’s outgrown clothes and just clean up! It may not seem like a lot but when you already have a packed day, and really just about 3 ho-4 hours after work to get everything done, it can seem impossible. So my plan is as follows:
1. Wake up 10 minutes before everyone else in the house.
2. Make a priority list, but only have 3 things max on there. This would only include additional tasks over and above my every day to do list!
3. Make a deal with myself that if I can at least get 2 of these things started/finished, that would be a great start.
4. If I only get 2 things done, task #3 can roll into tomorrow and on the top of the list.
Basically in a 2 day period, I can get about 4-5 things done that I normally would not do. The priorities keep me on track and focused and getting a few extra things done, get me out of the routine a little, but not too much!
