Date Night!

Ok, so this is an exciting blog post for me…so date nights in my home really don’t exist.  The last time I went out alone with my husband was 13 months ago!  Some of it has to do with our work schedules, but some of it has to do with finding a sitter, and is it worth the amount of money we’re going to spend. Our date nights usually include our daughter, which actually completely defeats the purpose

Well tonight we’re going to the movies, yes this movie will probably cost us around $100 with sitter and the rest of it.   We’re going with another couple, so basically just a night out!  I actually cant wait.  It’s so important to go and have an adult conversation and just be.  So, take it from someone that usually has date nights with a 4 year old…try and do something on your own maybe once a month.  I know I’m going to try to do it myself, because I should’t be feeling like a child on Christmas Eve just from the thought of one night out!
