Let’s pretend!

Today was the warmest day of spring so far!  It was beautiful and actually felt like summer!  I usually never leave the office, until it’s time to go, and I found an excuse to some some errands just to get out.  It was so worth it, and actually I feel like I should try and do it every day, even if it’s not the most beautiful day.  Taking a break, a walk and taking your mind off of things, even for just 10 minutes is definitely worth it!  When I got home, I again found an excuse to stay outside, so my daughter and I through together whatever we could to BBQ.  We went outside and put some things on the grill and it was time to play, at least for Maria….so she wanted to play pretend Strawberry Shortcake, so she was strawberry and I was lemon (hmm, should I be reading into this).  We ran around looking for the lost strawberry patch and in between checked on our dinner!  I probably haven’t said this in a while, but what a great Monday!  The point is, I’ve actually tried thinking of ways to appreciate the day…today was this, but tomorrow might be something else.  Give yourself that gift, even if you have to be lemon!
